The Dude from The Big Lebowski movie may not be the hero in a classical sense, but he definetely is the most relaxed and easy-going character in the history of cinema. I wanted to capture his mood and way of living into a lighting object.

And created the Dude lamp - probably the most easy-going lamp in the market. 

Its base is made of sheet metal, light and durable. The starter pack of shades consists of two PET shades in neutral gray and vivid blue and a clean paper one. The shades are simply put on a special platform on the base. 

Both base and shades are delivered flat-packed and bent by the user. 

The clean paper shade can be used as is or painted, or decorated with stickers, or combined with the PET shades, etc.

Due to its structure the Dude Lamp can be customized with literally everything: the user can print additional shades, fold them out of paper or an old magazine, or use other objects - hats, bowls, etc. - as shades.
